What will be included/explained/presented

0. Short HCI team and self presentation as TYPO3 HCI teamleader

1. Compressed/Summarised presentation of some legendary HCI books.
(eg: Laws of Simplicity, Don't make me think, Designing Interfaces, Defensive Design, Web Design)

2. Explanation by Examples
Explaining of good and bad approaches on some of "the state of the art" interfaces
and some of those which just missed the topic.
(eg: Google, gMaps, gDocs, gAnalytics, MobileMe, different CMS Interfaces, ...)

3. Plans for future of TYPO3 interfaces
Open the creative mind of the audience with some nice (but unknown)
ideas from the TYPO3 community and the HCI team.

Mission of the presentation should be a sensitization and a gain of interest
for the topic "usability and typo3" for the audience. All from a commercial
point of view, fitting to the audience of a business conference.

Authors Description 

I'm the TYPO3 HCI Team Leader, the TYPO3.org Art Director and the Creative Director at d.k.d Internet Service GmbH FFM.

I'm loving Julia, general or especial TYPO3 friendships and the spirit behind the project. I'm Interested in hacking limits of approaches, snowboarding and apple products. ;)

I studied marketing and communications with a focus on industrial design after I finish my apprenticeship as draftsman with architecture evening school.
