Title

Touchless Security with FLOW3

Authors

Andreas Foerthner

Abstract

Securing web applications is an essential but often not accurately done task - and if done consequently, the actual business logic becomes cluttered with conditions and other security-related code.
FLOW3's AOP (Aspect Orient Programming) container allows a completely new perspective on security. It enables the developer or administrator to secure whole applications from a central point without touching the actual business code or even without coding at all.
This talk demonstrates how FLOW3 handles security by weaving in security aspects into your code.
The second big topic will be the ACL (Access Control Lists) and authentication system, which is a flexible tool to configure who (which roles) has access to which part of your software and how entities (e.g. users) can be identified with different authentication methods.
